Downtown Pittsboro’s social district, including Hillsboro Street and nearby areas, will come alive during the Aug. 21 Pittsboro Finally Fridays Arts Walk from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitors can explore unique shops, galleries and local businesses, enjoy live art and music, and savor local food while connecting with artists, neighbors and the community. The event is free for the public and participating artists and vendors.
Experience the Artistry of Ice Cream at Downtown Pittsboro’s Annual Ice Cream Eating Contest
The annual Ice Cream Eating Contest, open to participants of all ages, will be a featured attraction during the Aug. 21 Pittsboro Finally Fridays Arts Walk. The contest begins at 6 p.m. on the SOCO patio at 39 West St., across from the historic Chatham County Courthouse traffic circle. Whether competing or cheering from the sidelines, attendees can enjoy an evening of friendly competition, laughter and sweet treats.
